Handbookfor theRecently Deceased

losing a parent to dementia

This disease was a journey, and I hope to author some words of utility in this space. Our persistent attempts to hack the process - from diagnosis to death - leave me with enough to reflect on to say I'll be back with more substantial stuff here.

Some creative, professional, and personal things have been on hold for me for months, some for years, and she would want me to dive back into life. Loss, however, makes self-promotion, self-publishing feel egocentric & trite, and the heft and immediacy of grief make any enduring ambitions feel like ice-skating uphill.
